EMINEM "RELAPSE" (May 19th, 2009)
Eminem is set to
release his highly anticipated
studio album "Relapse"
on May 19th 2009. With the
announcement of the release date
for Relapse, Interscope also
uncovered the project that Eminem
has been working on without
official announcement: a follow-up
album entitled Relapse 2. Relapse
2 is to be expected in the second
half of 2009.
“The music that me and
Dr. Dre made were too much for one
album, but we want fans to enjoy
the whole thing. A lot of people
were expecting Relapse to drop
last year. I was one of them. Then
Dre and I went back in the studio
in September for a few days, and
that turned into six months. We
we’re on such a roll; we
wound up with a ton of new music
produced by Dr. Dre. Putting out
Relapse 2 will let everyone get
all of the best
stuff”.
The first single from the album,
including a music video, will be
out April 7th. And he has handed
the technical responsibility of
producing his new album to Dre, so
he doesn’t have to worry
about it.
